Sapadere Canyon Tour with Cabrio Bus

Nature with comfort of an open bus!

After having picnic up the guest from the hotels we drive to the Meeting Point.

Driving along the coastline of Alanya till Kargicak with its banana fields. This is part of a unique area in Turkey where the banana grows. To get closer there is a short walk among the banana trees with its enormous flowers.

Turning down from the coast road to the Sapadere Canyon we arrive to Demirtas town, typical small town living on agriculture and marble industry. On the way guest can see fruit trees (olives, banana, medlar, pomegranate, orange, lemon,etc), fields  and  the natural beauty  of the Taurus Mountains.

Leaving Demirtas town we will stop at the local marble company to see how they prepare the material for further use. The guest will see cutting and polishing the marbel in process.

At the next stop the tour visits the newly built village mosque (2012),where guests can learn about Muslim religion with its customs and effects on daily life.

After having a rich program in the morning we stop at Aydoğan Picnic Restaurant for lunch with its cozy swimming tables and a spectacular Roman Bridge at the background. Nothing is more refreshing than swimming in the 70m long natural pool of Sedra River, guests who don’t want to swim can have a walk to the Roman bridge over the river or simlpy enjoy the sun on a sunbed.

Continuing the way to the canyon people can enjoy the beautiful view of the Valley of Sedra River with its countless colors and smell the fresh air just straight from the comfortable seats of our open buses.

Arriving to the Sapadere Canyon with its 400m high stone walls guest can have a   30-minutes-walk till the last waterfall of the canyon.

The last stop is visiting the tiny village Sapadere with its silk weaving tradition and  respectively old water mill. Local people show the guests how silk scarfs are made combined with a coffee break.

Back to the Meeting Point, and driving back the guests to hotels.
